Louise Middaugh is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a widely varied background. After graduating from the University of New England in 2012, she provided family medicine services for underserved in rural communities in Colorado. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2005 and specialized in soft tissue and acupuncture techniques. She also has an extensive background in fitness and was a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer for 15 years.
Louise decided to go into family medicine because she truly enjoys developing relationships with her patients and guiding them through their life processes. Her previous experience allows her to bring a holistic aspect to her care. She is passionate about teaching her patients how to work towards optimal health through multiple avenues and works with them diligently to achieve this goal. When she is not spending time reading medical or health journals, Louise loves to walk, bike, lift weights, sing, cook and spend time with her three rescue dogs and two rescue cats.
